2020 – “Circle Foundation for the Arts” – “El vuelo” (the flight) was awarded a certificate of Artistic Excellence in June 2020 (Francia)

2019 – Morales is selected as a participating artist at the international XII Florence Biennale
(Italy) representing his country Uruguay as well as the United States. The Florence Biennale is an outstanding showcase of the international contemporary art production.
2019 – Morales exhibits his artwork at the “28th Annual Arts and Music Festival” of Edgewater NJ (United States). He enters the Juried Competition and receives the award for excellence: “First Prize for Best Art”

2016 – Morales opens the “Alex Morales Atelier and Art Gallery” in Hoboken, NJ, offering a Permanent Exhibition of his artwork

2012 – Morales creates two of his largest artworks for private collections: a Mural on Canvas called “the Presentation of Van Gogh” and a tree trunk sculpture called “Guardian Angel”

2006 – Morales showcases his Mural of renowned Uruguayan Writer “Fransisco Espinola” (Paco) at the First Book Reading Fair in San José de Mayo (Uruguay)

2006 – Morales is nominated by the Visual Arts Association to serve as the representative of the Department of San Jose at the National Assembly of Culture which is organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Uruguay
2005 – Morales joins the Sub-commission of the Departmental Museum of Fine Arts of San Jose de Mayo, Uruguay with the purpose of promoting visual arts and supporting artists. He is the co-founder and vice-president of the Visual Arts Association of the department of San Jose which was created that same year.

1994 – Morales returns to Uruguay and is recruited by Unidad Publicitaria where he serves as an Illustrator and Creative for three years
1990 – Morales moves to Buenos Aires where he works in the field of advertising for four years and paints his first large scale murals
